Our robust and innovative biodigester septic tank are designed and developed as per the ministry of water and irrigation of the republic of Kenya final practice manual for sewage and sanitation services; December 2008 guidelines for the size of the four compartment Biodigester septic tank. The final effluent water discharged into the soak pit is odorless and clear meeting the recommended health and safety standards in Kenya. We have designed, built and serviced over 4000 bio digesters of different sizes from residential, large institutions to commercial handling huge volumes of wastewater daily. Our installed biodigester systems have been working efficiently for the past ten years with regular maintenance.
The clients we have served include; Residential home owner, large capacity apartments, National housing corporation, Hotels, learning institutions, slaughter houses and sewage treatment plants.
INCEPTION
Blue Flame Energy solutions, like most successful start-ups, was born from a pain point. In 2015, Henry Chochu, a young aspiring graduate of Aeronautical engineering was selected to attend a youth empowerment program on renewable energy and organic waste management.
Having come from a rural background, Henry was astounded that Animal waste and other organic waste produced in the household could be turned into fuel for cooking and lighting.
Henry Immediately thought of his home back in Muranga where people had heaps of animal waste on their farms yet were using expensive and harmful Kerosene as Fuel.
Two weeks later, Henry Immediately set up a training workshop and invited people from his community. To attend the workshop, one had to pay 200 shillings only. During the workshop, Henry, carefully explained that by using the waste around the farms and households they could produce Biogas. After the Workshop, 10 families were willing to try out the new technology. This is when Henry designed the first plastic Biogas system which was easy to install and affordable. When the first plastic Biogas system was ignited and the Blue flame lit up, the name Blue Flame Energy solutions was born.
COMPANY GROWTH
Since its inception, we have designed and produced our own designs of Biogas plants, Septic biodigesters, and Bio Latrines. Blue Flame excels in providing all-around solutions to its customers. The Blue Flame Biodigester is able to serve as a waste management tool and also works as a recycling plant for wastewater. Such water can be used for irrigation among other uses. The name Blue Flame Energy Solutions was succeeded by the name Biozone because of the vast expansion of our services and products.
Biozone, has grown from recycling water in households to also treating industrial waste. Such a service ensures that the factories and manufacturing industries have organic products that can be used to break down their wastewater into treated water that is more friendly to the environment and the earth. Biozone seeks to manage organic waste and convert the same waste into energy. For example, marketplaces with all their organic waste could have a biodigester that can convert the rotting vegetables into Biogas that can be used by the farmers and vendors.
In a world where almost, everything we consume is Genetically modified, Biozone seeks to counter this by providing organic fertilizers farmers and educating them on how to use the organic fertilizers to increase their yield. Biozone also provides specific probiotics that are given to livestock to improve Animal health and increase the production of milk, eggs, or meat. The probiotics allow the animals to reduce food intake and increase the absorption of nutrients in the livestock.
