Red mud pvc membrane digester bag. made by special material, which has the characteristics of anti-aging, acid and alkali resistant, ultraviolet-proof.
Waste Management for organic waste in Kenya is a problematic issue that needs stricter guidelines and initiatives for better and meaningful results. Waste water from Estates, cities, hospitals, schools and other institution. Effluent from food processing factories, slaughter house, are among the leading environmental pollutants in the country, especially in urban areas. That means proper waste disposal methods are necessary and should be enforced to deal effectively with the menace by ensuring that the institution is equipped with the proper waste disposal tools and mechanisms. BZB RED biogas system in Kenya spearheads this need as it manages and add value to the same waste.
Organic Waste is flushed using water through a drainage via coarse screening, grit removal and collected in the pretreatment tank, then mixed and blended by the mixer pumped into the Biozone digester for anaerobic digestion where biogas is harnessed. Organic matter is reduced over the process. The biogas can be used for heating room, cooking or electricity generation after purification. The slurry/effluent collected to the settling tank /clarifiers to separate settleable solids from the raw incoming waste water.Settled solid should be removed time to time treated using microbes, dried, packed or used as organic fertilizer. Liquid effluent collected can also be used to irrigate, as foliar organic fertilizer
Mainly including:
This process involves removal of a large non-biodegradable and floating solids such as plastics, tins, containers. Its easily separates and remove large matter, rocks, grit, metals carried along way by raw water which might negatively affect the treatment procedures.
Volume depends on waste availability;
Sub structure – masonry walls or reinforced concrete depending on material availability
Water supply required for easy dry matter wetting to required water to dry matter ratio
Purpose is to offer space for filtering, stirring and mixing the slurry to the required texture.
Sub structure – masonry walls or reinforced concrete depending on material availability
Purpose is to hold and to protect the red mud biogas digester as shown.
Material: Red Mud pvc
capacity of digester: depend on waste available or gas required
Specification of biogas collecting/ harnessing material

Volume required – depend on waste estimated to be overflowing from the plant
Sub structure – masonry walls or reinforced concrete depending on material availability
Purpose – to retain the effluent after digestion
Used for; stirring and mixing the slurry to the required texture
Advantage; lowers intensive labor required to mix and to remove the unwanted debris in the same waste.
Used to feed the mixed slurry to the digester some time grinding it to required texture.
lowers the intensive labor required to feed the digester.
Used to pump sludge/ slurry with optimum bacterial activity to the mixing tank to inoculate the new feed.
This accelerates the biogas production.
Used to remove the biogas impurities like hydrogen sulfide, water (steam) and carbon dioxide.
Used to offer biogas extra storage
Used to optimize the gas pressure
Used to convey the gas to storage and to the transducers
Converts Biogas to heat energy, electrical energy. They includes
2. Boilers
3. Brooders
4. Generators
2. Biogas production Small- and large-scale cattle farmers
3. Biogas production Small- and large-scale pig farmers
4. Biogas production & waste management for Food processing factories
